A creative studio at the intersection of art, code, and joy.

Joy Code is a creative studio founded by me, Lia Ballentine, and my husband, Brandon Ballentine.

We're combining our backgrounds in strategy, storytelling, communications, technology, and design to build things of our own.

Between us, we've worked at places like Apple, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and beyond. We've spent years helping other people build companies, products, brands, and stories. Now we're turning that experience toward our own ideas.

Joy Code is where those ideas get to play.

We're interested in the space where art meets technology, craft meets code, and useful things can also be delightful. Sometimes that means building a product. Sometimes it means making something beautiful. Sometimes we're not quite sure what it is yet.

Our first experiments are already underway.
