Before I started building my own things, I spent more than two decades working at the intersection of strategy, story, and leadership.
My career has taken me through media, entertainment, technology, finance, and entrepreneurship, with leadership roles at companies including Sony Pictures Entertainment, 21st Century Fox, and Scripps Networks Interactive.
I’ve worked with executives and teams through growth, change, reinvention, major transactions, and plenty of moments when the stakes were high and the story needed to be right.
These days, I’m focused on building creative projects of my own. But I still love a complicated problem, a big idea, and the challenge of figuring out what actually needs to be said.
Below is a selection of the work I’ve led over the years.

Executive Voice & Thought Leadership
Over the years, I’ve helped executives bring big ideas to life across stages, screens, boardrooms, and headphones. 🎧

The Business of Games Podcast
I helped launch and co-host The Business of Games, a podcast created with Xsolla President Chris Hewish exploring the business of gaming and the forces shaping the industry.
I led the show’s editorial strategy, developed episode themes and interviews, and co-hosted conversations with leaders across the gaming ecosystem.

Keynotes & Speeches
I’ve written and shaped speeches for CEOs and senior leaders across leadership summits, media appearances, and community events — including commencement addresses. 🎓
A few highlights include:
- Keynote addresses at media Upfronts, global leadership summits, and industry events
- Executive remarks for high-profile media appearances and interviews
- Acceptance speeches for entertainment awards, national organizations, and professional associations
- Commencement addresses and guest lectures at Harvard, USC, UCLA, and UNC Chapel Hill

Enterprise & Investor Communications
When companies speak to investors, analysts, and boards, clarity matters.
I’ve spent years translating complex business strategy and financial performance into clear stories for investors, analysts, boards, and employees.
Executive Communications — 20th Century Fox
At Fox, I managed communications for the company’s senior leadership and Board of Directors, including monthly CEO reports and annual budget presentations.
The work required distilling a sprawling global media business into clear, useful narratives for the people making its biggest decisions.
Sony Corporation Analyst Day — Tokyo, Japan
For Sony Corporation’s annual Analyst Day in Tokyo, I led presentation development for the Sony Pictures Entertainment segment, working closely with senior executives to shape the story, structure the narrative, and bring the presentation to life.
I scripted remarks for the CEO and Head of Motion Pictures, designed the presentation deck, and provided design support for the Sony Music portion of the event.
Annual Reports & Earnings Communications — Scripps Networks Interactive
Scripps Networks Interactive was a publicly traded lifestyle media company behind brands including HGTV, Food Network, and Travel Channel.
At Scripps Networks Interactive, I led the development of the company’s annual report and CEO shareholder letter, along with communications supporting quarterly earnings, investor roadshows, shareholder meetings, and analyst events.
The work sat at the intersection of financial storytelling, executive voice, creative direction, and investor communications, translating business performance and strategy into something people could actually follow.

Internal & Organizational Communications
Internal communication is where strategy meets culture.
I’ve led internal communications and culture work for organizations navigating growth, change, and reinvention, helping leaders keep people informed, connected, and aligned along the way.
My work has included building company-wide communications platforms and newsletters, developing leadership and employee engagement programs, producing Town Halls and all-hands experiences, and helping teams adopt new tools and ways of working.
I’ve also created culture and community initiatives that gave people reasons to connect beyond their day-to-day jobs, including employee recognition programs, internal events, and Women@21CF, a community I helped launch at 21st Century Fox.
Across all of it, the goal was pretty simple: make big organizations feel a little more human.

Independent Communications & Strategy Consulting
Helping leaders tell their story, engage teams and community, and communicate with impact.
I partnered with founders, senior executives, and nonprofit leaders to help them share their vision, engage stakeholders, and turn strategy into action.
Early- and Growth-Stage Startups
- Silicon Valley Fintech & Event Startup. I created branded pitch materials and strategic decks that helped the founders secure investor traction, generate pre-launch revenue, and attract celebrity partnership opportunities. My work translated complex business models into clear, compelling stories that resonated with investors and stakeholders.
- Las Vegas Travel-Tech Startup. I designed investor-facing materials and market positioning decks that enabled the founders to refine their brand identity and secure venture capital funding. My work helped communicate the company’s vision, market potential, and growth strategy in a way that clearly inspired confidence among investors.
Nonprofit Marketing & Development
- Animal Welfare Nonprofit. I led development strategy and event management for a North Carolina rescue organization, increasing revenue from its signature fundraiser by 60% year-over-year and securing celebrity engagement and media coverage. I also supported the launch of a capital campaign that reached 50% of its goal within the first two weeks and built systems for donor stewardship and campaign tracking. After my term ended, I continue to serve as a volunteer for the organization.
- Food Access & Sustainable Farming Nonprofit. I consulted on development and communications strategy for an Austin, TX nonprofit, strengthening community engagement, growing donor relationships, and managing grants and special projects. My work included producing social media content, newsletters, and signature fundraising events. I also designed the organization's online market in partnership with the City of Austin to expand access to locally grown food. Following the conclusion of my contract, I was invited to join the board.

While my focus today is on building my own creative work, I occasionally take on select strategic communications, storytelling, and advisory projects when the fit is interesting.
