About Yumday®
From stories to snacks to a system for living a delicious life.
Yumday didn’t start as a business.
It started as a reminder.
In 2017, I began using the phrase “Yumday” as a personal mantra — a small prompt to live a more delicious life. Not delicious in the culinary sense alone, but in the broader sense: to stay curious, seek joy, try new things, and savor the experiences that make life meaningful.
A few years later, during the uncertainty of the pandemic, that idea evolved into a passion project. I launched a food blog and set out on a year-long challenge to celebrate every national food holiday on the calendar. Some days were delightful. Some were ridiculous. All of them reinforced what I already suspected: food has an extraordinary way of bringing people together and opening the door to larger stories.
That project eventually grew into a business.
In 2020, Yumday became a specialty food company focused on discovering and amplifying women- and BIPOC-led food and beverage brands. Through curated snack boxes, corporate gifting, events, content, and even a physical retail store, Yumday connected thousands of people with founders and products they might not have discovered otherwise.

But even as the business expanded, I found myself drawn to something deeper.
The products were interesting. The people behind them were unforgettable.
The more conversations I had with founders, chefs, and makers, the more I realized that what excited me most wasn’t commerce — it was storytelling, exploration, and discovery.
Today, Yumday is evolving again.
It is no longer primarily a retail business. Instead, it is returning to its roots as a creative project — a place where my interests in food, culture, storytelling, and technology intersect.
In many ways, Yumday has come full circle.
What began as a personal reminder became a passion project, then a business; and now it's a space where I'm nurturing my creativity, embracing play, and exploring the things I love most.
The format has changed over the years. The mission has not.
Live a delicious life.
